Tawang
Our driver will receive you from the Guwahati airport/ railway station and drive you from the airport to the Nameri National Park, three hours drive from Guwahati. Nameri is famous for its elephants and other wild animals like tiger, leopard, gaur, wild pig, sambar deer, etc; and also for being a bird watcher’s paradise. Overnight stay at Nameri.
In the morning, go for rafting on the Jai Bharali River. The rafting route is 13 km long and takes about 3 hours. A great, enjoyable experience. After lunch, leave for Dirang,
140 kilometres away. Check in at a hotel for overnight stay at Dirang.
Next morning drive towards Tawang, 160 kilometres from Dirang. On your way to Tawang, visit the famous Sela Pass, Jaswant Garh and Nuranang Waterfall. On arrival at Tawang, check in to a hotel.
Spend the entire day visiting the Tawang Monastery and various other places in and around Tawang. Overnight stay at Tawang.
After breakfast, leave for Madhuri Lake. The Picturesquelake is locally known as the
Sangetsar Lake. From there, proceed towards the India-China border at Bumla Pass. The Pass is located at an altitude of 15,200 feet. Drive back to Tawang for night stay.
After breakfast, drive to Bomdila. On the way back to Bomdila from Tawang, visit the hot water spring at Dirang. Spend the evening visiting various tourist attractions at Bomdilla. Overnight stay at Bomdila.
After breakfast, drive back to Guwahati for airport/railway station drop.
